Solera Senior Living’s passion for providing the best care in senior living is what most impressed Megan, and is why she joined the team. With 25+ years in senior living, she learned well the value of commitment, and what a difference it can make. “The mission of Solera resonates with me,” she says. “Seniors inspire me every day!”

For Megan, fond memories of both sets of grandparents sparked her desire to serve older adults. Her goal to be in healthcare in some capacity led her to assisted living, where she “immediately felt at home. I wanted to be sure I could play a part in providing care to seniors.” Now as Executive Director of The Reserve, she strives to provide excellent customer service to residents, families, staff, and guests.

“My responsibility is to ensure we are providing the best care in senior living, upholding Solera’s mission and cornerstones, and providing a space for those to grow.” Megan enjoys watching people thrive and succeed, and bringing everyone together to drive vision and purpose. “You must commit yourself daily to those you serve.”

Megan received her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Southwest Texas State University. The majority of her 25 years in senior living have been spent managing the daily operations of assisted living and memory care communities.

Married with three children, Megan’s family also includes three Chuckwallas and a large Australian Water Dragon. She’s a true fan of all genres of music, loves being outdoors in the sun, reading, and trying out new restaurants. 

The beach is always her perfect vacation.
