Kaicee Crowley

Director of Culinary

Kaicee’s desire to create meaningful experiences through food dovetails perfectly with Solera’s core values, as well as The Reserve’s commitment to ensuring every individual feels valued and respected.

“I believe dining plays a pivotal role in enhancing residents’ lives,” says Kaicee. “What I find most fulfilling is crafting meals that not only meet nutritional needs but also evoke comfort and joy. I am passionate about creating dishes that resonate with residents' memories and preferences, ensuring that each meal is an experience that nourishes both body and spirit.”

With 18 years of experience in senior living and restaurant kitchens, Kaicee has done it all, from line cook to culinary director, as well as training and developing culinary directors and dining engagement. Now as Director of Culinary at The Reserve, Kaicee oversees the entire dining experience, from menu planning to food preparation and service.

Compassion most inspires him. “In the culinary world, compassion is understanding the unique needs and preferences of each resident, and striving to create dining experiences that honor their individuality,” says Kaicee. “Preparing meals that convey care, respect, and a sense of belonging. I am committed to leading with compassion, ensuring that every resident feels seen and valued through the meals we provide.”

When he’s not delighting hungry residents, Kaicee and his partner enjoy experimenting with new recipes, spending time with friends and family (which can include 21 nieces and nephews), and hiking. Plus, canine pals Beau, Lola, and Alfredo. Guilty pleasure? Southern-style biscuits with sausage gravy, and reruns of SpongeBob SquarePants cartoons.

An ideal vacation would be a culinary journey through Spain exploring regional dishes and learning traditional cooking methods.
